IrishEnergy.ie is a renewable energy lead generation and information platform based in Ireland. We connect Irish homeowners and businesses with SEAI registered solar, heat pump, wind and geothermal energy installers.
For the purposes of GDPR, IrishEnergy.ie is the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at info@irishenergy.ie with any data-related queries.

5. Who We Share Your Data With
When you submit a quote request, your personal data — including your name, email, phone number, Eircode and property details — will be shared with up to 3 renewable energy installers operating in your area. These are third-party companies independent of IrishEnergy.ie. They will use your data to contact you with quotes and to arrange free site surveys.
We may also share your data with the following categories of third party:
- Renewable energy installers and contractors — solar, heat pump, wind and geothermal companies who will contact you regarding your enquiry
- Energy product suppliers — companies offering batteries, EV chargers, diverters and related products relevant to your enquiry
- Our technology and platform providers — companies that help us operate our website and CRM systems, operating as data processors under our instruction
- Analytics providers — Google Analytics and similar platforms, under appropriate data processing agreements
- Legal and regulatory authorities — where required by law
We do not sell your personal data to unrelated third parties for unrelated marketing purposes. However, once your data is passed to an installer, that company becomes an independent data controller and their own privacy policy governs their use of your data. We encourage you to request and review the privacy policy of any installer who contacts you.

- Rights related to automated decision-making — we do not carry out solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects
To exercise any right, email info@irishenergy.ie with the subject line "Data Rights Request". We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Note that erasing your data from our systems does not automatically remove it from third-party installer systems that have already received it. You will need to contact those companies separately.
10. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately at info@irishenergy.ie and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. When we make significant changes we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
